Gut and Microbiome

This section covers possible causes related to the digestive system and the intestinal ecosystem.

It may include constipation, diarrhoea, reflux, inflammatory gastrointestinal conditions, intestinal permeability, dysbiosis, microbiome composition and intestinal fungal overgrowth, including Candida in a microbiome context.

Independent infections belong under “Infections and Immunity”. Laboratory and clinical assessments remain under “Assessments”, while interventions remain under “Therapies”.
